Auction House Manager

Amy’s lifelong connection to art began in childhood, when she painted her first watercolor and discovered a passion that would shape her career. She later earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Kansas City Art Institute, developing the technical training and eye for detail that now inform her work at the KC Auction & Appraisal Company. Her knowledge and experience help guide clients toward the best decisions for their estates and possessions.

Since joining the KC Auction Company in 2006, Amy has continued to expand her expertise in fine art through studies with the Certified Appraisers Guild of America, the International Society of Appraisers, and additional professional resources. Her commitment to best practices and her ability to recognize subtle distinctions in quality have benefited hundreds of clients and customers.

Amy remains an active artist and is represented by the Blue Gallery in the Crossroads Arts District. Her creative work, academic training, and professional appraisal background strengthen her role within the KC Auction Company team. Outside of work, she is a voracious reader, music enthusiast, and gardener.

Her areas of expertise include fine art, sterling silver, Japanese woodblock prints, and vinyl records.
