We are excited to announce that Renee Hutcheson has joined our team!

We’re very happy to welcome Renee Hutcheson to KC Auction & Appraisal Company as our new Client Services & Auction Support Coordinator. Renee brings a thoughtful, steady presence and a depth of experience in roles where clear communication, organization, and client care truly matter. Most recently, she worked as an Office Assistant at the Law Office of Bryce D. Moore, where she managed client communications, prepared formal correspondence, tracked deadlines, and helped keep complex workflows running smoothly in a detail-oriented legal environment.

Before her legal work, Renee spent many years in high-level customer service roles, including Lead Customer Service Representative at Atlantic Aviation and High Value Escalations Manager at Citibank. In those positions, she worked directly with discerning clients, handled high-volume and high-stakes phone calls, coordinated logistics, and demonstrated the discretion and calm problem-solving skills that are so important in auction support. Her background makes her especially well-suited to being one of the first points of contact for our buyers and consignors, helping them feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the process.

Renee’s addition to our team reflects the continued growth of KC Auction & Appraisal Company and our commitment to strengthening the client experience. As our auctions continue to expand in scope and participation, having dedicated, knowledgeable client support allows us to better serve our buyers and consignors while maintaining the personal, approachable service our company is known for. We’re excited to have Renee on board and look forward to the role she will play as we move forward.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys talking with people, staying organized, and working in an environment where no two days, and no two items, are the same.

About the Role

This position is the first point of contact for many of our clients and customers. Your voice is often the first impression someone has of our company, so phone confidence, professionalism, and a calm, friendly demeanor are essential.

One of the things people consistently love about working here is the variety. We work with art, antiques, jewelry, coins, historical objects, and estate collections. Every day brings different items, different stories, and different client needs. This role is especially well suited to someone who genuinely enjoys estate sales, antiques, art, or collectible objects and is curious about learning what comes through the door.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting buyers after auctions with questions and next steps
  • Scheduling pickup appointments and coordinating logistics
  • Helping buyers understand invoices, timing, and procedures
  • Supporting smooth and positive pickup experiences
  • Acting as a consistent point of contact during the post-auction process

This work is critical to client satisfaction and repeat business, and it will continue to grow in importance as auction volume increases.

Office & Auction Support

  • Assist with post-auction coordination and communication
  • Handle basic administrative follow-ups
  • Support the flow of information between buyers, staff, and management
  • Maintain an organized, welcoming, and professional office environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Confident and comfortable on the phone
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional
  • Comfortable working in a small business environment
  • Curious and interested in antiques, art, estate items, or collectibles
