Sale Description

I must say that we have never experienced an estate like this one. It feels like every box we open (and we’ve opened about 100) has at least one wonderful item in it, if not many wonderful items. For example, we opened a regular sized box today that was labeled “Limoges” and inside was a collection of nearly 50 Limoges boxes and about 10 Halcyon Days boxes. In the tables and tables of holiday boxes we found Baccarat, Radko and a ridiculous amount of Halloween Dept. 56.

We have mentioned the clothing before, but the quantity and quality cannot be overstated. Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Ralph Lauren, Christian Dior, Dana Buchmann, Armani, Hermes ties and Wolford are just the beginning.

The furniture is all top notch, high end designer furniture by Maitland-Smith, Ralph Lauren, Henredon, Ethan Allan and the 4 Oriental rugs in the home are just phenomenal!

The collectibles will blow your mind as well! The marquis piece has to be the 20″ Capodimonte limited edition “La Pietra” that measures an astounding 20″ tall. The closest thing we can find is a related piece of the same size that is currently priced at just under $10,000! There are also several large Lladro, a couple of very nice Hummels (2 include a Steiff bear even), a collection of Disney collector’s watches (not pictured yet), a nice group of Steiff bears and animals including a 24″ Eagle and a group of sports memorabelia including a fantastic “Wings” poster of Michael Jordan that is autographed by the man, the myth the legend MJ himself!

Other highlites include some truly outstanding man stuff. The McIntosh stereo system that cost…get this…$67,000 when purchased brand new in 1989. The Orvis, Filson and related outdoorsman items are just great and don’t forget the “Gold Series” Browning gun safe with 8 good long guns including a Kimber of Oregon.

What is just amazing is that this is not everything and darn near everything that you see in this house is top quality, expensive and hardly used at all. This maybe a once in a lifetime opportunity to buy the best at prices you can afford.
